No Out-of-Pocket Costs for DVA Card Holders

 

If you hold a DVA Health Card – All Conditions (Gold) or Totally & Permanently Incapacitated (Gold) card, DVA covers the cost of your chiropractic treatment in full when it's provided under DVA arrangements — meaning no out-of-pocket cost to you at Enliven Health.

If you hold a DVA Health Card – Specific Conditions (White), your chiropractic treatment is covered at no out-of-pocket cost when it relates to an accepted war- or service-caused injury or condition.

Are You Eligible?

 

You may be eligible for DVA-funded chiropractic care if you hold a current Gold or White DVA Health Card. Chiropractic must be provided under arrangements accepted by DVA and, for White Card holders, must relate to your accepted condition.

How to Claim DVA Chiropractic Treatment

 

To access DVA-funded chiropractic care, you'll need a referral from one of the following:

  • Your Local Medical Officer (LMO)

  • Your General Practitioner (GP)

  • A medical specialist

  • Your treating doctor in hospital

  • A hospital discharge planner

  • A chiropractor with a current referral

Referrals remain valid for 12 months and cannot be extended or overlapped from one 12-month period to the next — our team can help you keep track of when a new referral is due.
