CLAIMING THROUGH MEDICARE?
Under certain circumstances, medicare will be able to cover a total rebate of $52.95 per visit,
for a total of 5 visits, every calendar year
ARE YOU ELIGIBLE?
To be eligible for medicare, you must:

Be suffering from pain for at least 6 months (chronic pain patient)

Be placed on a Chronic Disease Management Plan (formally known as an EPC program)

Have a referral from a GP under medicare forms 721 & 723

Have numerous health issues that qualify you for chiropractic treatment under medicare, or hold a current healthcare / pensioner card

Have a GP complete a referral form for chiropractic treatment
Bring your completed medicare from with you to your next appointment
ARE THERE OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES?
There are no out of pocket expenses for Health Care Card holders or Pensioners
There is a small out of pocket expense for non-card-holders of between $5.05 and 15.05
