COVID-19 Q & A
Can I attend a chiropractor during the COVID-19 pandemic?
Yes, Chiropractic remains an essential service during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Should I attend a chiropractor during the COVID-19 pandemic?
There is no right or wrong answer. But a practical approach should be used here. If you are in acute or severe pain or if your pain is reducing your capacity to undertake daily tasks, such as working or looking after yourself or family, then chiropractic can still play a major role in assisting you during this time. However, if your goal is more wellness and to alleviate minor aches or pains, it may be worthwhile delaying your trip to the chiropractor by a few weeks. If you are in doubt, please call to discuss.
What is being done to protect patients against COVID-19?
Patients health is paramount. Best practices according to WHO and local government and regulatory advisory committees are being adhered to.
Firstly, and most importantly, all patients are asked to stay away from the clinic if they are feeling unwell or if they have had contact with someone who is diagnosed with COVID-19.
Cleaning and disinfecting or surfaces treatment tools and doctors hands is performed between every patient
Social distancing is encouraged and facilitated by a direct entry to the treatment room via a back courtyard
There is no cancellation fee for patients cancelling due to illness
We will all work together during these times to support each other and build a strong and health community. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the clinic.
